About This Product:

But first, let me share how I got to here.

When I was building my graphic design business, I faced the ongoing disappointment of infrequent work, small design jobs, tight budgets and loose briefs.

I felt very much on the side-lines decorating – creating logos but not getting the big jobs. I wanted to play in that sandpit... I would observe what the major players were doing and think ‘I can do that.'

I decided to get serious.

And my life changed dramatically from that moment on.

The biggest realization I had was that there were two key aspects I missed;

1. UNDERSTANDING THE MIND OF THE CLIENT:
By imagining myself walking in their shoes. What really mattered was their business success.

2. MAKING SURE THAT MY WORK WAS INFORMED BY BRAND STRATEGY:
This is where the best brand work lives and where the financial rewards are. I knew that if I didn’t embrace brand strategy nothing would change – I would be left behind working on the fringe decorating and earning little in return. I had to take uncomfortable action and put myself out there amongst the major players I admired.

As my career in branding progressed, I found myself questioning why graphic designers aren't always included at the strategy table.

It became clear to me that strategy was the funnel for everyone else to charge large amounts of money, yet vital information was often not being effectively relayed to designers in a form that they could interpret creatively.

I knew I needed to move in this direction but honestly, it was overwhelming and I was unsure of what was expected of me.

But I jumped in, learning how to undertake brand strategy and developed a methodology to convert this information into the creative execution of authentic brands.

And to take clients on this journey, I figured out how to present the brand so they joined the strategy to creativity dots all the while nodding their heads in approval and wondering:

“How did she do that?!”

My journey culminated in empowering myself and my design team to create brands that took my business from the fringe to the very heart of effective branding. This led to work from start-ups to high-end clients on a global scale. In turn, I was rewarded with the financial freedom I desired while also working on what I love.

I just had to tell you all my story as this changed my life completely. And it can drastically change yours.

This course gives you the methodology of all that I have learned and on completion you will download the working Brand Strategy template so you can undertake brand strategy with your clients – straight away – and use your findings to create powerful brands that work hard for your client.
